We believe communication with our parents, coaches, and volunteers is always a high priority at GOU. We are constantly looking for new and better ways to give you all of the information you need and want from us.
What is Greater Osceola United Soccer Club?
GOU is the largest soccer club in Osceola County, providing developmental, competitive, and premier soccer for the youth of our community. This year we have 28 competitive teams ranging in level from entry level travel to state cup level and 17 developmental in-house teams.
When is the soccer season?
GOU provides three playing seasons. Our Fall and Spring seasons have 8-10 games each. Fall season begins in August and Spring season begins in March.
Our new winter sessions begin December 7th. Sessions will be 10am to noon at Denn John Park. Players signing up for winter sessions must be registered GOU players (fall, spring or competitive) for insurance purposes. Players new to the club may try one session for free with a signed waiver available at check-in.
Who can play?
Children who are 4 years old up to age 19. Age divisions are based on August 1st of each year. Recreational/Developmental ages are from 4 to 10. Competitive ages are from 8 to 19 and require a tryout or evaluation for placement on teams based on availability. See registration page for U-age groups.
Where are the games played, when are practices?
Developmental in-house practices are one or two practices per week with a game played on Saturday, usually at our home facility, Austin - Tindall Soccer Complex. Competitive practices are generally two practices per week with a game played on Saturday and/or occasional Sundays. Home games at Austin - Tindall and away games in the Central Florida area. Alternative Practice fields include Denn John Park, Archie Gordon and Oren Brown Park in Kissimmee. Practice locations and times are at the discretion of the coach.
What are the prices?
Price depends on the player's age and level. The price chart can be found HERE. Price does not include uniforms or other competitive team expenses, such as tournaments. Uniforms can be found in the link on the left. In-house players need to order the "rec package kit" and competitive players need the "Travel Package Kit". Competitive players should check with their coach before ordering in case they are ordering additional pieces. More registration information can be found HERE.
